Daily Summary
Day
1 Depart U.S.A.
We travel together
from the U.S. for Medjugorje with meals served enroute.
Day 2 Medjugorje
We are met and driven to Medjugorje usually
arriving early afternoon. Since we stay with the Jacov the visionary's
relative - they welcome us and prepare our meals, it feels as if you are
at home on Apparition Hill. (refer to map.)
Our orientation walk
includes:: the Adoration Chapel, the Risen Christ and Apparition Hill.
Day 3 -4 Medjugorje - A Place Called
Peace - Apparition Hill - Meet the visionaries Cross
Mountain Blue Cross Cenaclo Oasis of Peace
Our
guide accompanies you throughout our stay to your meetings
and of any other private arrangements for you.
We follow the path to start the climb up Apparition Hill
where they first saw the Blessed Mother. Many times Ivan,
Vicka and Marija would often gather with their prayer groups
to pray there before the Blessed Mother appeared to them.
Day 5 -The village and Fr. Jozo
Hear and experience the presence of Fr. Jozo at his prayer and healing service (if he is available.
i.e. not traveling). There is time to visit the nearby
cave of the martyrs' before returning to the village in time for the
evening apparition. There are still three visionaries receiving daily
apparitions.
DAY
6 Holy Rome
On arrival we are met by our Peace Center Tours representative
who accompanies us throughout our stay and assists us to our
hotel located within walking distance of the Vatican.
DAY 7
In the footsteps of the
Saints St. Peter's Basilica
This brief description is certainly not enough
to transmit the deep emotions you will feel when you visit this
special place. Travel back in time to the sacred gravesite of
St. Peter as we descend from the upper church to the
the tomb of St. Peter below. Who wouldn't be moved at visiting the sites where
St. Peter was crucified and St. Paul was beheaded, where St.
John was cast into boiling oil and where Peter asked of Christ "Lord,
whither goest Thou?"
on the Via Appia Antica where time
seems to have stood still since the days when Nero and Saint
Paul walked these roads.
We
lead
you down to the incredible ruins of the Roman and Imperial
Forums, about 30 feet below the current level of the city, where
you will learn about the ancient markets, basilicas, and
temples; see where the Senate was and where the most important
figures in ancient times spent their days. Your guide will bring
to life this ancient place so you can imagine what it was like
to live in one of the most important places in history...two
thousand years ago..
and finish with our walk inside the Colosseum.
DAY 8 Assisi
Through enchanting Umbria's
lush vineyards and rolling hills to a place where our
worries give way to inspiration-Assisi. We ascend to the
mystical city of St. Francis’ and St. Clare encircled by
ramparts, hardly changed since the Middle Ages. Our prayers
are heard as we visit his crypt and
the convent of the incorrupt
body of St. Clare is a profound experience. Intimate places
in the lives of these two saints is intertwined when we
visit the place of his baptism,
Santa Maria degli Angeli, the Portiuncula - the roseto
into which St. Francis threw himself to overcome temptation,
the cave in which he lived and the cross where St. Francis
received his stigmata. A full day's visit.

Caracalla, the Arch Titus, the miraculous crucifix of
St. Brigid, are only some

monuments sanctified by the faith and devotion of
centuries. Across the square is the Scala Santa, which
according to tradition, are the 28 steps Christ ascended on
his way to meet Pilate. Visit the Pantheon begun in 27 B.C.;
the place and church where St. Agnes was paraded naked to
the crowd while being martyred. Visit the church where the
chains of St. Peter are revered. We will see Caravaggio’s

bound St. Peter which demonstrate whoever believes His word and
obeys it will experience miracles.
Visit to
St. Mary Major’s and St. John Lateran where we find part of
the wooden table used by St. Peter to celebrate the holy
Eucharist. The successors of Peter would celebrate Mass
on
the same altar table used by the Apostle himself; the Holy
Stairs that Christ ascended which were taken from the house of
Pontius Pilate where pilgrims will be found climbing them, many
on their knees, in silent prayer. We visit the houses of the
saints who lived their lives in this holy city and walked its
streets – saints Sts. Philip Neri, St. Catherine of Siena, St.
Agnes, St. Ignatius Loyola. The legends of martyrs’ is dear to
