TERMS AND CONDITIONS


ALL THIS IS INCLUDED: AIR TRANSPORTATION-Between Gateway City and destination per itinerary, Jet Economy, based on the lowest applicable promotional fare valid for the appropriate departure date, on any major scheduled Carrier chosen by PEACE CENTER TOURS (herein after referred to as the Operator) . Applicable airline fare/add-on between Hometown and Gateway City is not included and will be added to final invoice to each participant.
SURCHARGES-Should the airlines impose fuel, electronic, governmental or other surcharges, you will receive a supplemental bill with current assessments detailing these charges. Subject to change.
PAYMENT-A deposit of U.S. $300 is required in order to obtain confirmed reservations on the pilgrimage. Invoice will be issued reflecting the deposit as a partial payment received at PEACE CENTER TOURS upon your registration. Reservations submitted within 60 days prior to departure are accepted requiring FULL PAYMENT and are subject to availability. LATE BOOKING FEES are assessed on registration received 8 to 15 days before departure in the amount of U.S.D. $50.00. If 7 days or less before departure, U.S.D $60.00 will be required to cover cost of processing. If applicable, plus cost of any overnight mail charges. A minimum of number of passengers are required on most pilgrimages or program may be subject to cancellation. Itineraries may be reversed, and the number of days may be altered to accommodate changes in airline, train, or cruise boat schedules. Some participants may receive one or two extra leisure days at a nominal per day charge.
NOTE: Some airlines charge 50% to 100% non-refundable for any changes or cancellations from the beginning. Many airlines require non-refundable deposits from the beginning. We will make every effort on your behalf to refund what is due you. However, if there are additional air or hotel cancellation charges or other expenses, these will be passed on to you. Refunds may take 90-120 days.
AIRLINE TICKETS-Tickets cannot be changed or refunded. Air transportation to and from your destination utilizes non-refundable, non-amenable tickets. Prices are based on airfares in effect as of December 31, 2007. Thereafter, prices are subject to change as designated by the airlines with applicable penalties/change fees. Some limitations may exist pertaining to expiration date.
ACCOMMODATIONS-In Medjugorje, stay at private homes in twin-bedded rooms with private bathroom, or stay at a 3 star hotel or higher category hotel as indicated per itinerary. Rooms in other countries as per itinerary. Single occupancy subject to availability, at additional cost per invoice.
Extra days offer does not include airport transfers.
MEALS-Breakfast and dinner daily in Medjugorje. Lourdes Breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Meals in other countries per itinerary.
TRANSFER-Between airports and homes/hotels per itinerary, including transportation of 2 pieces of luggage per person, porterage as indicated on itinerary.
BAGGAGE-Free allowance is 2 pieces per person, (subject to airline revisions) measuring not more than a total of 106" nor weigh more than 50 lbs., plus a carry-on measuring not more than 39". We recommend that only ONE suitcase per person be brought on the trip, plus flight bag supplied by PEACE CENTER TOURS.
TIPS & GRATUITIES-Not included in basic price, billed separately in the final invoice per itinerary.
CHANGES FROM STANDARD PROGRAM-A minimum of US $75 per person will be charged, and transfers to and/or from your destination are not included.
Peace Center Tours reserves the right not to accept or retain anyone on our programs whose general deportment or condition impedes the operation of the programs or affects the rights of other passengers. The limit of Peace Center Tours liability is to a refund of monies received.
RESPONSIBILITY-PEACE CENTER TOURS and the airlines used for our pilgrimages are agents for passengers in all matters. Peace Center Tours Inc. will not be liable for any damage, expense, or inconvenience caused by late air, rail, ship, or boat arrivals or departures; any change in schedule including carrier; loss or damage to baggage or property belonging to the passenger. The passenger contracts the carrier. It shall be a contract between the carrier and passenger. This brochure/pilgrimage package not issued on behalf of, and does not commit the airline(s) mentioned therein or any airline(s) whose services are used in the course of the programs/pilgrimages.
SERVICE CHARGES & LOCAL TAXES-Included are all service charges and local taxes normally included in hotel and restaurant bills(for included meals). Other taxes which may vary from $30 and up per person and are added to the final invoice and subject to governmental/airline changes.
TRIPLE ROOMS-No discount applies when an odd number of gentlemen and ladies is present, one triple room will be used without reduction in price,so as not to demand a single room supplement from an unwilling participant.
IMMIGRATION DOCUMENTS-Valid passport required for each U.S. traveler. Visa for U.S. citizens is not required for Ecuador, Italy, Mexico, Venezuela, Israel, Portugal. U.S. passports: Croatian/Bosnian visas obtained upon arrival at airport. Other countries as required - please contact the applicable Consul General.
Catalog information is for use through Dec 31, 2007 and is subject to change without notice; due to changes in air fare, land rates, or rates of exchange, governmental increases or fuel surcharges.                                                                                 Not included in Package(composite) Price:(see the terms for additional details). Domestic air fare, Passport, and Visa fees, food and beverage not included in the table d' hote menus of the meals included as per Itinerary and Conditions.                                                                                                                Travel Insurance/Personal or luggage insurance, are strongly recommended and available at nominal cost, as well as low cost insurance against loss of the tour price (due to accident or sickness) to travel.
Reservations and payments are accepted by Peace Center Tours (herein after referred to as the Operator) at its office, and any dispute shall be governed by the Illinois law and subject to the jurisdiction of Elmhurst-Dupage County, Illinois. In calculating the cost of your trip, Operator has relied on your consent to these terms and in the absence of this release. Operator reserves the right to substitute hotels of similar quality at any time or to make changes in itinerary of similar quality. Operator will not be responsible to any person for expense, loss of time, money or other circumstance resulting.                                                                           Cancellations Prior to departure: Cancellation Charges from 61 or more days $500, 31-60 days 50% of total program cost, 15-30 days 75% of tour/cruise cost. Less than 15 days 100% of total program cost.
